Get a strong start on UC Personal Insight Questions or Common App Personal Statement. 

 

Use a step-by-step approach

  • Brainstorming activities that dig deep into self-reflection.

This small group workshops offered online through Zoom. Sign up for an available date. Or, if you’d like to work with a group of classmates, contact me to arrange a mutually convenient date. 

Individualized Tutoring: Refining Your College Essay 

For students who have written rough drafts. 

 

Includes:

Review of rough drafts.

A one-on-one Zoom session discussing individual questions & needs. 

Polishing, editing, and follow up questions through Google docs.

 

  • Ensure your topics help you stand out and avoid redundancy.

  • Use effective tone, strong details, avoid cliches. 

  • Choose most effective organization.

  • Work toward clarity, meeting word counts and deadlines.

 

Packages available for:

UC Personal Insight Questions. 

Common App, including supplementals (up to 3 schools), and UC PIQs.

Hourly rate available for revising and editing an individual essay.
